Dallas, March 4, 2005 – Celanese Chemicals today announced
that it will increase the price for all PVAc homopolymer and VAE co-polymers in North America by 3 cents
(USD) per wet pound, effective March 15, 2005, or as contracts allow. Acrylic and vinyl-acrylic emulsions
will increase by 6 cents (USD) per wet pound, effective March 15, 2005, or as contracts allow in the
same region.
