Dallas, November 9, 2005 (CE: NYSE):Celanese Emulsions will increase the price for all Vinyl and Acrylic emulsion polymers sold
in Europe by 5 to 7%, effective for shipments on or after December 1, 2005, or as contracts allow. Pricing will reflect unique technology and delivery requirements for each product. The increases are
necessary to offset continued substantial rises in raw material and energy costs associated with the
production of these products.
