Nurnberg, Germany (8 May 2007) - At the European Coatings Show, Celanese Corporation presented Mowilth® LDM 1852, a vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) emulsion specifically designed for low-emission semi-gloss paints. This breakthrough emulsion solves a problem many formulators in Europe have faced for years when trying to lower emissions, yet maintain the critical balance of gloss properties, scrub resistance and block resistance in semi-gloss systems. Free of solvent, plasticizer and APEO, Celanese developed this technology to support the demand for higher performing environmentally-friendly coatings throughout Europe.
