Dallas, Dec. 5, 2007 -- Celanese, a global leader in polymer emulsions, announced today that it will increase the price
of all PVAc homopolymer, VAE co-polymer, acrylic, styrene-acrylic and vinyl-acrylic emulsions sold in
Europe by 100 Euros per metric ton. This increase applies to all applications. The increase will be
effective for shipments on or after Jan. 1, 2008, or as contracts allow. This increase is in addition
to those previously announced effective for July 1 and October 1 of this year.
